Good for the location

the overall stay was ok, not the 5 star hotel but the room and hotel are clean, there is a nice area surrounding the hotel for walking with restaurants. the hotel needs a coffee shop or a place to relax in.

We absolutely loved our stay (in Dec 2022) at the place. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and hard working and it is at a walking distance from Metro and other grocery/superstores. Its also kind of in the middle of old dubai/Deira and downtown/new dubai. The staff in the restaurant was also very friendly and helpful.. Will stay again. Highly recommended

My experience at Hampton By Hilton Al Seef

During my stay at Hampton by Hilton Al Seef, I was very disappointed. First, as a business entity the staff should be welcoming and try their best to maintain a positive relationship with the customers. However, in my condition the receptionist were not cooperative as if they don’t want to welcome me and enjoy my stay. Second, no one had informed me or notified me in advance that the swimming pool and restaurant are closed. Therefore, I had to visit the next door hotel to enjoy the 5-star service instead! Third, I would like to bring to your notice that the cleanliness and Hygiene of all staff should be of high standard and priority! Nevertheless, I would like to take the opportunity and appreciate the next door hotel “Canopy By Hilton Al Seef” that warmly welcomed me and my family to enjoy there 5-Star services at the restaurant and swimming pool. Special thanks goes to Mr. Ayman F&B Manager who did his best to comfort me during my breakfast. Thank you!

If you want to stay in an authentic area of Dubai

I arrived late and I didnt like check in as the service was rudely interrupted by customers who didnt wait their turn so it took 10 mins to check in. The room itaelf was lovely, i liked the mural on the ceiling of dubai and the little details like the rope and the metal bars that contained the wardrobe and shelving unit. The room contained a fridge and had a kettle so i was able to make myself tea and cofffee whenever i wanted to. Breakfast had a good selection - pastries, fruit, cooked food, cereals so it catered for most diets. And seeing that they changed the items on the cooked section like boiled eggs one day, turkey bacon etc. It was interesting to see different versions of pork foods. I also used the pool one day as its only open until sunset (they seem to close things early at this hotel) - when i would use them. I was the only one in the pool and its manned by a lifeguard so we had a little chat. This was squeezed in before my sunset safari, which I've booked in the lobby. Definitely worth going. The second day my card key didn't work, even when i asked them to change the card. They called an engineer out (this was around 10pm) and he toiled to fix the mechanics, he tried his best. In the end i was moved to a different room (no mural, less natural light). The area is in the old down - Al Seef so its near the river and souks so its more interesting staying there
