I had a delightful weekend stay at the Novotel Deira. The staff were all vry kind, helpful and attentive. The breakfast was a great value and a great way to start the day. I enjoyed early morning walks in the park adjacent to the hotel and evening stops in Vertigo, the lobby bar. Thank you to Jun, Maureen and all of the wonderful staff.

Great property that is very close to Diera Mall. Very short walk to the mall which has a great range of shops. Nice size room, comfortable bed and it’s nice to have a separate bath and shower.

Breakfast was average, with more South Indian options. Reception service was okay but other staff around the hotel were amazing. Specially at entrance, swimming area, house keeping. They were brilliant and helpful. Chef and other staff at breakfast were efficient too.

1-Night Stay at Deira

Stayed 1 night only in here since we arrived very late at Dubai. Changed to another hotel the next day. The location was okay, 2 stops only on the Metro from DXB, then a few minutes walk from the station. We booked a 2 single-bed room but when we arrived we were told there's only a 1-bed + sofabed room left. We insisted and at last were provided with a 2-bed room. Anyway, the hotel's condition was below par, most parts inside the room looked visibly aged, especially the toilet. Since our stay was just a quick overnight stay, it was barely acceptable. But if you are looking for a more extended stay, I think there should be plenty other options available nearer to the city centre.

Staff were very polite and helpful. We arrived sooner than check in time and they provided room 2 hours sooner that check in time. The breakfast was very good. But the room was dirty, and there were bug in the bathroom. Also there were lots of noise in lobby and in bedrooms( however for bedrooms I don’t blame Hotel, people arrived late around 2 or 3 AM and careless of time they made lots of noise!

Really liked how close this property was to the Dubai Airport which made it convenient upon arrival and departure to help avoid long drives in traffic. The staff was very helpful and supportive for any of our needs especially around getting us the best prices for transportation to and from the hotel - whether it was the hotel drivers & cars or just using taxis they always helped us get the best prices. What we didn't like was the actual hotel property felt dated and could definitely use a refresh and remodel to help it feel more current and revitalized.

Staff was generally helpful. However, new staff with change of shift gave our room away and we had to wait longer. Room had water damage, carpet was mouldy and twrribly smelly. Very concern for our health. We were given another roo. But the issues were the same. The smell was a little less and we only plan to stay for half a day so we put up with it. Very disappointed as we expected better from Novotel.

Backdated property..staff at desk very limited in explanation..room amenities very poor..AC not working properly, key card locations in elevator and parking access not working..dirty room carpet. Bathroom: shower cabin and toilet, very small and hardly enough space to move within. Very dirty finishing of corner material..very much mouldy and therefor grey..apologies for geing so specific and sharp with comments. Hotel was a big disappointment: needs urgent maintenance and redecoration of room. Only positive matter to mention is the closeness to the City Center Mall. An experience NOT worth repeating.

I absolutely loved the location ( close to metro and close to a mall and restaurants). I also like the personnel who were all very friendly. The only thing that needs improvement- I already mentioned this to the hotel- was the attention to detail from the cleaner. Half of our stay he would put only two towels in the room, but we were staying with four people in the room. One day he took the toilet roles and forgot to bring in new ones. A few days in a row he forgot to take the dirty cups and plates from the room. One day he forgot to clean the bin which was overflowing and one day he left a cleaning cloth lying around 😂
