Vacations Close To Driftwood Beach

1 star - Do not stay here, especially with kids We stayed here with our family, 3 adults and 2 small children, and it was a terrible experience from the moment we arrived. The front desk staff treated us with a very bad attitude, and our room was not ready when we arrived. When we finally got into the room, it was dirty. There was a very strong smell of humidity and animals, it was hard to breathe, dust everywhere, and hair all over the place. The bathroom was dirty and the toilet had urine in it. When we lay down in bed, we started itching all over our bodies and got a sore throat. One of my children developed an allergy rash and could not stop sneezing. We ended up leaving at 10pm because we could not spend the night and sleep there. Before we left, we explained the situation and they told us they could not do anything, that they were sold out and had no other rooms available. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with children. Very bad hygiene. The pool and hot tub water was dirty and could not be used. Very bad experience.

Hotel restaurant is being renovated so eating opps were limited. Staff was terrific..easily arranged late check out!

Great staff

We had the pleasure of Josette checking us in. Very lovely lady and helpful. Breakfast was really good here. Enjoyed the fountain view and the sitting areas outside. Very pleasant stay and would stay here again

Beds were comfy, room was clean, shower nice, food available in the lobby was very limited and the staff insisted you have to come downstairs to get food you order, annoying when they are only offering Pepsi products that no one I know wants and very limited food like pringles and popcorn. Breakfast was just ok, only eggs and microwave bacon with a bunch of bread, not great for keto people. Lots of fruit, but water was out when we came down at 7:30, great hotel in a rich area, just suggesting a few minor upgrades to make it better.

Parking was terrible. Not enough of it. Everything was so-so. Wouldn’t consider it above average. The room was clean. The hallway murals were great.
