Very friendly & helpful staff. Breakfasts were good.
Felt it was too pricey for the stay with paying extra for breakfasts. The whole place could have been cleaner, which is what I expect in this day & age. Chalet felt rather tired in decor, could do with updating.
Very helpful and amenable landlady even though there was an oversight on our part regarding our dog we had with us, and we misplaced our key (found it again!). Good sized room with all facilities, parking right outside. Only had breakfast once during our stay but it was excellent.
This accomadation was superb, comfortable, clean, picturesque
We choose to eat here and the service was outstanding with a menu second to none, very friendly owners and staff who were welcoming and helpful
So happy with the Star Inn we have booked again
Great pub. Comfortable and clean chalet. Good food. Lovely owners. Good location for Malton, Pickering, Whitby, Scarborough, Bridlington, Driffield, and Filey.
This was more like a motel & good value for money. The only criticism was that the room wasn't warm enough even though the fire was switched on. We are used to central heating . We didn't have a shower as bathroom not warm enough despite towel rail heated. It was a shame as very clean & has all you need. Think Yorkshire people are hardier than us southerners!!!
Owner very friendly & we had a wonderful cooked breakfast which couldn't have been better.
Would definitely stay again but in summer when warmer.
We stayed on a Sunday night & it was very quiet despite being a pub.
