We chose Kimpton because online it said it was close to a lot of places we wanted to visit which turned out to be untrue. There were also some charges that we weren’t aware of when booking which came as a surprise. The hotel itself was nice enough but didn’t really wow us, we found the bed uncomfortable. The check in service was very unhelpful, especially after our long drive in we were expecting a bit more. However, the checking out all but made up for that because they went above and beyond to help us with an early check out. The two people at the front desk were friendly, helpful and kind. Overall, our experience at the Kimpton was fine, just not great. We had been expecting a lot more.

Liked the location . Staff were all lovely and helpful . The breakfast and free wine hour. (Which isnt actually free due to silly added fees that you have no choice but to pay) Didn't like the queing for lifts every morning and the ridiculous fees everyone has to pay at check out for things like printing & gym wether you use these or not. So on top of the £750 + we paid for 4 nights. we then had to pay out another £87 at check out

Can not beat the location. Large, spacious room. Continental breakfast was very nice.

Fabulous location. Nice spacious room with comfortable bed. Bar very noisy - nowhere for a quiet drink. The wine hour was very pleasant and sociable
