“The Holly Inn is conveniently located outside of Richmond town center across the river valley - walking distance if you can handle the hill. The views of Richmond and the surrounding area are amazing. There is plenty of car parking for the accommodation, pub and restaurant on the same site.

“We just stayed four nights at this hotel.
We enjoyed the location of the property—not to far from Leyburn, Hawes, or Grassington.
Good location for short and long walks or hikes.
You can walk to the falls from the hotel, and there are footpaths if you want to walk to all three falls. That was fun.
Just a quick drive to visit Bolton Castle—worth the visit.
We enjoyed the breakfasts—nice selection of pastries, cereals and fruit. And, the selection of hot items on the breakfast menu was...

“Lovely place. This is a rustic place in the middle of nowhere and is fantastic! Worth all the travel. Staff were amazing. Food was superb. I had the giant Yorkshire pudding with beef bourginon. My room was lovely and the bed comfortable. A very welcoming place even for a single traveller like me. I’m definitely going back at some point! Brilliant”

“The lady that greeted us was lovely and she then told us where our room was. We hoped to eat in the hotel but was told that the chef had called in unable to cook. I tried to find out if we could get breakfast next morning but nobody came back to us. Nobody told us how to exit the building in an emergency and when we left the next morning at 9.45 we had to let ourselves out and leave the keys on the bar having seen no one!
