The hotel staff as always were exceptional. It was our first time in the lodge for over 30 years as we normally stay in the hotel and I guess in terms of accommodation I guess you get what you pay for! The food and service was excellent

Great reception on arrival and the staff made a special effort to make me feel comfortable as i was travelling on my own. I had a beautiful meal in the bar and the breaskfast the next morning was fabulous.

Beautiful hotel and great food. Very friendly staff. Our accommodation was in the Lodge which is great value. Only disappointments were that the upstairs area wasn’t available and there weren’t any of the nice homemade choc cookies on offer in the communal tea making area both of which we enjoyed on our previous stay.

An outstanding & beautiful place to stay. The staff are amazing and clearly well trained. I think we met the owner (manager) briefly who was circulating and chatting to guests. His passion clearly shows in how the Hotel is run. We stayed in the Lodge which was nice but there was noise from what I think was the generator room which spoiled our experience slightly. We would stay here again.

Gorgeous lakeside room looks at the water; very super reasonable pre-season price includes a fancy breakfast at the big main hotel on the premises. Nearby in Donegal the pub live music scene was amazing

Super friendly helpful staff. Hotel is immaculately presented in beautiful grounds. The food is delicious and we enjoyed a lovely relaxed evening in the bar being entertained by the the magnificent guitarist/ singer Mark Langan. I would highly recommend a visit to experience Irish hospitality at its very best.

The Lodge is run by the Harvey's Point Hotel next door. The rooms at the Lodge are compact but more affordable for the traveler working on a smaller budget. Although the hotel is located about 10/15 minutes from the town of Donegal, they have their own restaurant and bar open to guests. I had an amazing dinner there which I highly recommend. They also offer a complimentary breakfast for all guests with a huge assortment of breakfast foods to choose from.

One night stay

The room was small but as advertised. Perfect for what we needed, a place to crash after a wedding but the one downside was the fan or generator that came on at about 6:30am and woke us up then continued for about 4 hours. The noise vibrated through the room I was going to complain when checking out but the staff member never enquired if everything was ok and was looking away from me at a screen when processing the check out. Breakfast was excellent
