This hotel was a gem in its heyday, so it's definitely vintage. Some things could be modernized; other things need some maintenance, but all minor in comparison to the experience of staying at the Dodge House. The room was clean and comfortable, air conditioning worked great and the shower had great pressure. The indoor gaming/pool courtyard can provide oodles of fun for the kiddos in a safe, indoor environment. It's too bad the connecting restaurant is no longer open, but there are plenty of nearby options. Overall, it's a pretty neat place for young and old alike.

This was our second stay at the Dodge House Hotel & Convention Center. We returned because the rooms are clean, the staff is welcoming, there is a restaurant onsite, and it's a good value. This is an older hotel with lots of charm.

This is a fun property with the history of the old west and the TV show, Gun Smoke. The antiques are incredible. Indoor pool, hot tube, video games, basket ball court for children, and a volleyball area. The staff is wonderful. If you decide not to stay here, it is a place to visit. It is like a small museum. .

This is a truly fun place to stay! The pool and hot tub are great and the rec area is nice. The whole vibe of the place is fun and relaxed. As old as the property is it is in ok condition. Some upgrades could be welcomed but for the price you can’t beat it.

Clean room. It's am older hotel so everything is a little dated. The indoor pool and hot tub were amazing. Nicole at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again on my next trip.

Very family friendly hotel. With basketball court, volleyball, indoor pool, hot tub, arcade area, free washers only $1.00 to try. Staff was very friendly room was clean. They are still doing updates so it’s still outdated but a great stay for the price. Comfortable bed great water pressure. Would have liked to have the chain back on the door but not a make or break for me. Overall nice stay.

This place isn't by any means a 5 star hotel, but the staff here went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and pleasant. Morris and Yalondra were very helpful. The restaurant on site has amazing food. We will definitely stay here again.

The Dodge House has so many fun things to do within the facility! It was fun to just walk around and look at all of the memorabilia!! The staff was phenomenal and so helpful and accommodating!! 5 stars for the young man at the front desk on the early evening of September 25, 2025!!!!!

Why wouldn't you want to stay in a classic western themed hotel in a historic town? Everything came as described. We weren't there long enough to fully see the props/displays and enjoy the other amenities, but want to make a longer visit to the city and would stay there again. Seeing an indoor volleyball court in a hotel was a first lol. The property, room was very clean. The hotel was quiet. I believe there are rooms on the inside and outside, ours was on the inside. With the way the hotel was designed, you actually get some nice sunlight inside the pool area and will shine inside your room. The next time we go to Dodge City for an extended stay and tour of the city, we'll for sure book here again and enjoy more of what they have to offer.
