“Very dusty bedroom, wood panelling behind the bed was full of dust and cobwebs. Shower tray had black mould present. Kitchen had alot of cobwebs, dead spiders. Fridge seal was filthy, oven glove had holes and was burnt needs replacing. Windows inside are filthy and to top it off dog poo left for days which you had to try to avoid in the dark. The owners are trying to sell the property and are clearly not bothered.”

“Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff, reliable wifi for business travelers. I arrived before check in time and the owner was very kind and gave me another room that was ready. Local community is very close but kind to outsiders. Convenience store very close by. Will definitely stay there again when I travel to that area. Thank you Jaimie and crew, I truly enjoyed my stay!”

“We adored our stay and wish we had more time to spend here. What a wonderful country setting in a traditional B &B. Beautiful chapel views from our room which also overlooked a sweet field with sheep. We were welcomed at the door and bid goodbye personally. The cooked to order breakfast was wonderful and thoughtfully prepared and laid out. We would love to return if we are lucky enough to do so. True gem!!! Suzie and Wes from Oregon.”

“Well kept accommodation in a quiet location, even on a Saturday night! Staff were friendly and helpful, room was comfortable and well equipped, and parking was no trouble at all.”

“This older home was well maintained and comfy. It was close to the centre of Banbury and down the hill to Banbury Cross and the statue of the lady on the horse. Breakfast is included and there is a wide range of cold or hot meal options; there is a kettle in the room with tea bag’s and coffee packs with sugar and UHT milk made it easy to have a hot drink in your room early morning or in the evening. For being on a busy road it was very quiet. Michelle is welcoming, but leaves you to get on with...

“Martha was a lovely, attentive host. Hedley Villa Guest House is spotlessly clean. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. Free parking available directly outside. We had a lovely stay.”

“We stopped for 1 night. It was raining heavy for the last hour of journey and using as a bed/stop off on route to Heathrow. I kind of misunderstood where I was going and surprised to realize that this, basically, is a b&b. For a bed for the night, at this price, I would expect a more comfortable bedroom. It was cold. There is obviously a property thermostat that comes on/off but the temp drops fast where the room is so it would slowly get cold then warm up which makes for an unpleasant nights...

“We absolutely loved our stay at Jasmine House. Our room was lovely. Much more spacious than anticipated, the bathroom was very nice as well. The host let us use the fridge in the main kitchen to store a few items which was helpful as well. The location is wonderful, easily walkable to great dining options and some nice little shops. Highly recommend!”
