“The best thing about this hotel is undoubtedly the staff, especially Eric and the two lads in the restaurant. They take what is already a decent hotel and make it an amazing one. Unfortunately, the airline lost our luggage, but Eric immediately stepped in and helped us. He personally came out with us to help us find everything we needed, expecting absolutely nothing in return. Five days later, when our luggage finally arrived, he went above and beyond once again by accompanying us to retrieve...

“The ocean view amazing but you had to work for it. Lots of steps. (We stayed in the highest bungalow) There are no roads on the island. You get there by boat. The reception was amazing. Luggage carried off boat. Mango juice served upon arrival. Wonderful staff. Waking up to the sights and sounds of the ocean and birds was wonderful. No air conditioning in our unit but with terrace doors wide open, (they have mosquito netting around the bed, alrhough we didn't need it as it was the first of...

“Breakfast is continental with various additions. It does the job of getting the day started. The staff are attentive and will get you anything you want. The rooms are simple but clean but they do not have any air conditioning just some fans . The rooms can get very hot and it can be difficult to sleep. There is no fridge or coffee making facilities. Bring your own shower gel and soap as the hotel only provides a non scented soap stick for cleaning yourself. There is TV in the room but ours only...

“I booked for 4 nights but stayed 12. That must be saying something. All the staff gave excellent service and extremely friendly. Always a Bonour when they see me. As it was my birthday when I arrived I sent email before asking if they could arrange a lobster. Diane replied and arrange it. I had all my evening meals in there downstairs restaurant ( they have 2) by the beach and the food was excellent. Drinks and food were very reasonably priced. I ate and drank well. Even made Dry Martini for...

“Paradise found! We loved our stay here! It was our last few nights in Madagascar after a month - this was a perfect way to end an incredible trip. The room was gorgeous and well appointed, the beach is sweet and lovely for swims at high tide. It was great having the free paddle boards, kayaks and snorkel gear - we kayaked to the turtle sanctuary and swam with them (lovely!!). The food is epic here - possibly the best we’ve had in Madagascar. Dominique clearly takes great care in producing...
