set in beautiful countryside. very quiet, room was very comfortable with a wonderful view, and we had a shared kitchen with another room, with microwave, fridge, in which we put some cold items for the next day.
hosts were wonderful, very helpful in recommending somewhere to eat that 1st night, the local pub was lovely and great food. and the breakfast that we had the following morning was exceptional, plenty of safe parking.
would highly recommend
Have stayed before so knew what to expect. The owners are very easy to get on with plus very polite and friendly. Best part of the stay is the English breakfast which is superb all of the trimmings. The breakfast is worth 5 stars alone.
A lovely property in a beautiful setting, run by a lovely couple. Our second stay here and we were not disappointed. Great home cooked breakfast. Thank you Ginny 😊
Delightfully clean and comfortable stay at Hazel Barn. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room near and tidy with water, tea, coffee etc and fresh milk availble. The b
View was wonderful a d i had obe of the best breakfasts I've had in a while. An absolute gem!
Both my partner and I really enjoyed our stay. We didn’t spend much time here as we were at a Bressingham Hall for a wedding. However, the small amount of time we did spend here was pleasant. Hosts are very welcoming and informative. We stayed in the double bedroom just off from the communal area and it was quiet and clean. Had everything we needed and a lovely view out into the garden.
The breakfast served has to be the best I’ve had in a very long time! Would thoroughly recommend including breakfast within your stay. Being able to eat this in the main houses summer room was a pleasant surprise also!
We stayed for one night in the double room. It was like home from home. Ginny made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Bed was super comfy, shower was hot and tea and coffee in the room.
Ginny also gave us recommendations of where to eat which we really appreciated. Oh and the breakfast was delicious!! Definitely stay again
Stayed 1 night. Room with double bed. V peaceful. Comfy, clean and welcoming. Includes a shared area with kitchen if you want to prepare any food during the day. Breakfast was lovely, hosts were friendly.
Only v small issue - a little confusing where to enter the B and B.
Let me start by saying this was the best night's sleep I've had in years. The location is a little remote but absolutely fantastic for a good night sleep. I met Ginny one of the hosts who was so lovely and friendly. The accommodation is such amazing value and would be a great base for trips to Norfolk.
There is a real nice energy about the place.
Absolutely loved it.
Stayed just the one night and very happy. Clean, comfortable and an excellent breakfast in the morning. A little out of the way, so car is a must. We stayed in the Willow room which had a lovely view out onto the garden. Only had minor niggles, bed was a double, not a king which I am used to (but double was in booking info). Doors are creaky and door catch noisy, so a quiet toilet visit in the night is difficult.
Would definitely stay again if in the area.
I went to Diss to see friends & colleagues. On arrival no one was there to meet me as I had arrived early. There was no way of contacting the proprietor. They were on holiday, their adult daughter & son in law were taking care of bookings/stays. I had to wait for them to come home from work. The son in law was the first to arrive and was friendly & apologetic. The daughter arrived and she was equally lovely. The room was so nice and comfortable. I had a fantastic sleep & enjoyed my stay.
We found it easily, our hosts were friendly and courteous, breakfast couldnt be faulted, rooms were nicely decorated, we will be returning in the future.
Warm welcome, lovely room and having access to fridge, microwave and toaster a bonus for guests will definitely recommend and book again when in the area
It was an amazing stay, the owners was very welcoming. The garden is so lovely and very pleasing to look out to from the room i stayed in. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
