Staff were great . The beds are a bit soft but overall well maintained and clean

Everything was excellent except the beds were very hard

Room was comfortable and the breakfast was great!

Lit pas confortable. Très bruyant, mal insonorisé. Pas beaucoup de stationnement. Et déjeuner, seulement toast et bagel en plus c’est dans l’entrée à la réception avec seulement 8 places.

I always book the Barrington when I visit Halifax. It provides the best value from my experience, proximity to the Harbourfront, and Pedway to the Casino/waterfront (especially during the winter) and the Tempo restaurant on the premises has a fantastic staff and the food has always been excellent. The only negatives I have found was no air conditioning in the room and the parking off site. On site with no fee would be a great perk but understand that is impossible. However , the AC issue is fixable. The windows do not open so the room did get stuffy and we woke several times during the night. I don’t recall this always being an issue so there may be AC in some rooms. Also, this would not have been noticed on winter trips. It was definitely a problem this time.
