I booked this room several months in advance for an event at Loretta Lynn's. When I booked this I requested and checked to be sure but I booked a nonsmoking room. We used to smoke and dont anymore so I would prefer a nonsmoking room. When we got to the hotel the front desk clerk was very apologetic because we didnt get our nonsmoking room. They put us in a smoking room and it wreaked of old stale smoke and dog pee. You could see the stains in carpet from where a dog had peed. Thankfully we were only there to sleep but it took me forever before I finally became "nose blind" to the odors. This was very upsetting to us because there were no other options for us as there were so many in the area for the same event. I probably will not stay here again. If I have drive in from Camden or Dickson I will do that before I do this again.
As always, Clean quiet comfortable. We do not stay anywhere else. Great price. No need to test the other 3 lodgings.
And the Ol Boy serves a fine meal across the street (BBQ) haha
Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Only minus was that all rooms led to outside doors.

Close to the interstate
Was happy with the staff--they were all friendly & helpful!! Beds were comfortable! Breakfast was good! Got there early because of time change. They had just finished our room so we were able to check in early!! Audrey in the office was great!! The only thing was bathroom & carpet could be updated! But it an older motel!! I would have no problem staying there again!!
Horrible. Pool, which was advertised as open, was in fact closed on a 90 degree day. Our room phone rang throughout the night. We stopped answering after the third call when no one responded on the other end. We chose not to eat the continental breakfast; McDonald's was better, and we felt safer there.
We wanted a hotel close to Loretta Lynn's Ranch and this hotel fit the bill. The free computer wasn't working so the manager let me use the hotel's computer. It was an ok hotel.
Some of the reviews that I had read I was worried. But my room was nice, clean. Staff was very nice. It was a nice place. We had a great time. I would recommend this hotel.
Looking for someplace to spend a night on the road. Hotel staff friendly and proffessional. Free breakfast in the morning was good. Room was clean. It was everything I needed. Would definitely stay there again.
I visited Nashville for the weekend. This hotel was very clean for an older hotel. For the price, you can't beat it! The only negative is that it's an hour on the west side of Nashville. If you don't mind the drive or if you are coming into Nashville from this side, it's a good place to stay. Continental breakfast was good with pancakes, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt, and bagels.
We requested a non-smoking room and the receptionist went to great lengths to keep us away from smoking room.
The breakfast was good but when we arrived a 300-pound truck driver had cleaned out the scrambled eggs , biscuits, and sausages. His plate was over flowing. However, the motel receptionist cooked us some more food, so we left satisfied. The motel was clean; the staff went out of their way for us. The rooms could use a remodel.
This is not a new hotel however for what I paid I was very pleased. I would stay there again. The people were pleasant and the only recommendation I would have is real cream for coffee.
