I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. Hotel is in the middle of the shopping market & a friendly walk. The food was great & restaurant was very close. Thank you Showket Alam Mitul & staff for a great time I will be back soon

The location is centrally located if you want to see the really busy Dhaka, near the market. It's not posh, but the room is big, spacious, comfortable, and has all the amenities. The excellent staff is polite and attentive at reception, restaurants, and transportation. They are eager to help and take good care of you. The only thing I reported was some leakage in the bathroom after taking a shower, which they cleaned immediately but need to fix. Still, it didn't affect my visit. I would stay there again

- Property itself is good enough for the price but the location is terrible. The access is through a narrow dirty street. - The reception told about roof top restaurant, Spa and normal restaurant BUT I couldn't get into any of these because they told all these are fully reserved. I had to go outside for dinner but there is no nice place to eat near the hotel. I had no option that to eat at a low quality road side unhygienic shop. - I asked for the complaint / suggestion register then they gave me a paper and not the register meant for this purpose. - For the sake of face-wash, one person came to me when I was boarding taxi after check-out and told that he is the CEO and he wants to talk to me, though he was seeing that I am boarding the taxi on the roadside.

Best staff ever! Courteous, genuine, competent and lightning fast. Always available/on call. Spacious, clean, fully equipped rooms. Plenty of storage space. In-room snackbar plus coffee/tea set up. Strongbox, mini fridge, hair dryer. Strong shower pressure and hot water! Extra toiletries, robes and slippers available. Gorgeous dinning hall. Good selection of well made food items from 2 menus. Laundry, day driver and airport transport services all available. Separate barber available on property. Pizza Hut, gift shops and ATMs are a short 7min walk away. Love this hotel! My favorite one in Dhaka!

Not pleased

The main reason I booked this hotel was for the jacuzzi and it was not available. I called before I went to it and asked if it was open and available and was told yes. Also, the steam room is only available for an extra cost and the pool was cold. I am disappointed with this situation. Additionally, bringing in food from elsewhere is not an option based on the rules. I am forced to eat at the same restaurant every day and the food is hot or miss. Overpriced as well. I found a cheaper place with a working jacuzzi and private balcony for a fraction of the cost per night at Sky City. I would have checked out of Sky City today but did not because I wanted to go to the jacuzzi right away and use the steam room. Obviously that did not work.

I stayed at Sky City Hotel Dhaka last week. During my stay, the housekeeping staff noticed that I liked to have extra pillows. Without me asking, they always made sure there were plenty of soft pillows on my bed every day. The restaurant in the hotel was also a great experience. One evening, I was feeling a bit homesick and the chef, upon learning this, prepared a special dish that was very similar to my mother's cooking. It was like a warm hug in the form of food. Especially recommend their chef Parvaj and his team provided very attentive service, which left a deep impression on me. This hotel really made my stay memorable, not just because of its great facilities but also because of the wonderful people who work there.

The Hotel is excellent, the room is comfortable and clean, the breakfast of quality, and the attention of the very cordial staff, both the reception manager Showket Alam, and the doorman Mustapha who have been very cordial and friendly. The road to the hotel is too bad. It’s was narrow, dirty and located in a nasty place. The neighbourhood is terrible. I really don’t recommend anyone to go there. There were lots of hotels just on the main road with good neighbourhood.

Home away from home.

Every bit of business with this hotel goes like clock work. Airport pickup, accommodations, cleanliness, courtesy, comfort and a feeling of coming home; that's how welcoming they make it. Hats off to the manager, the kitchen staff, housekeeping, bell boy, and the unseen people who make it a success. Very impressed by the warmth I felt when I've stayed here twice and hope for more in the future!

Very nice Food in the breakfast buffet and dinner. Kind manager (Mr, Shaika) in the restaurant. But some of the waitresses are not that active. Nice room but phone for the room cleaning person in the corridor ring all day and night. It disturbs me and my colleague in another room. I called the front desk to do something but never fixed. seem like location is in the middle of markets, very crowded. but if you feel it as part of travel, it's ok. Never used the swimming pool and Gym but I visited and looked very nice and well managed.

My first time in Bangladesh and my new experience upon stepping into this lovely Dhaka city. The people here are very kind and polite, hardworking and morally motivated. Delicious local cuisine was the most famous “Kachi Mutton Beriyani” which available in Old Dhaka can be considered as the best in the world. Hotel front desk manager Mr. Md Showket Alam has been assisting me well one week before my arrival. I must thank Mr. Showket and his team who provided me all the necessaries during my stay. My deeply appreciated to Razu and Hassan being very proactive when carry out their duty, never forget to Miss Sabrina from the airport administrative who are committed on her excellent services, both my thumbs up for you Miss Sabrina. This is an unforgettable trip I had in Dhaka with endless of enjoyment staying in Sky City Hotel. Love, Abdullah
