Lovely comfortable stay

Very pleasantly surprised as the photos on the website didn’t do this hotel justice. The grounds, decor and general standard was very high and staff all very professional. Our family room was an excellent size, with 2 bathrooms and a door between sleeping areas. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was some noise from other rooms but ear plugs solved that problem. Breakfast was simple but delicious and from service was very reasonably priced, easy to order via the app and great service.

Lovely hotel set in a lovely area and will definitely stay again. All the staff at the hotel were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The Restaurant was also very good, but perhaps use hot plates so that the food stays hot longer but still very good food!

A large room at the back of the hotel, basic but comfortable (similar to a UK Travelodge). We had mixed experiences at reception from friendly to austere - hence the average rating. Positives - plenty of parking and a quiet hotel. We were visiting friends nearby and just needed a place to stay- so it suited our needs. We loved the woodland area behind the hotel which was perfect for running.

I asked for a room with a good view and i got a room with a super tiny window, almost no view. That is the most annoying thing. Quite basic hotel. Nothing else to mention.

We stayed there for one night on the way from Amsterdam to Frankfurt. A uniquely shaped building with a unique history (former monastery and then a nursing home) with a church attached to the building, it has a pretty large outside territory and is surrounded by the woods with hiking trails. We had two rooms with two toilets, a mini fridge, a coffee maker and a kettle in the room. We also were lucky to have a one-of-a kind large balcony. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was great! Definitely recommend! P.S. important note- this hotel doesn’t have AC in rooms (this is typical for many parts of Europe). That was not a problem for us but if it’s important for you and it’s summer outside - this place might not be for you.

Wir fanden die Betten viel zu weich, haben dann aber die aufgelegten Matratzen entfernt und danach wunderbar geschlafen. Das Restaurant hat uns auch gefallen, aber man kann auch gut in der Stadt essen gehen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und konnte unsere Anliegen zufriedenstellend lösen.

Zimmer 221: - Es wurde kein Deutsch gesprochen. - Die Sprache des Fernsehers war niederländisch und ließ sich nicht auf deutsch oder eine andere Sprache einstellen. - Die Nachttischlampen sind nicht fest zusammengebaut und damit sehr wackelig. - Die Heizkörper - vor allem im Badezimmer - sollten entlüftet werden, es gibt starke Strömungsgeräusche. - Keine freien Steckdosen im Bereich der Nachttischschränke, zum Beispiel zum Laden eines Smartphone. - Keine freie Steckdose am Tisch, zum Laden meines Laptop. - Die Pappbecher bei der Kaffeemaschine haben einen starken Eigengeruch, ich habe daher den "Zahnputzbecher" genommen. - Die Matratzen sind nur aufgelegt und verrutschen daher leicht. - ...
