The room was clean! Shared spaces were clean. Staff were hardworking. I loved the 7th floor bar, there are many bar options at this hotel, so you don’t have to worry about scarcity. I did go right before NYE, so some of the drink options were not available. Overall great stay!

I stayed at the Godfrey December of 2024 and it felt so luxurious. Not the same in December 2025. No robes, no room service menu-called for room service no answer, had to call the front desk because the heater wasn’t working properly, noise from the heater, elevator and other guests made it uncomfortable. Next holiday season we will try somewhere new. I will say the staff was wonderful.

First time in Detroit and this place was excellent. Close to a lot of great food spots, the rooftop vibes were great (including food) and everything was so nice for a great price!

Staff at the Godfrey Detroit was extremely accommodating and friendly. My flight got in early and they got me right into my room. Room was very clean and modern. Lots of food and entertainment in walking distance. Great location to get to all areas of the city.
