A very unique hotel! Accommodations were unlike any other that we have experienced. Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast served at the lovely bar was very good. A beautiful and historic property that is unique and special in every way. The staff were delightful, friendly, helpful and generous. The furnishings exquisite and well maintained. There was a clean atmosphere that was a surprise given the age of the hotel, and it’s in a city that has lots of humidity where you normally would find a moldy smell there was none! Much appreciated for someone who has allergies. I wish I didn’t have such a late check-in because I wasn’t able to appreciate all that the property had to offer but if I come back, we’ll stay there in a flash Great job and a wonderful experience!

My room was clean and the hot water, heating and cooling all worked really well, towels were fresh and bedding was clean and comfortable. The fitness center was well-equipped if a bit small (it would be crowded if more than 3 people were working out at the same time). Breakfast eggs were odd-tasting, but I appreciated that there were some options and hot coffee available. I also really enjoyed the champagne upon check-in, and the location of the hotel was convenient to the waterfront and downtown restaurants and locations. The area seems to be safe and pretty clean.
