Parking is a wide open lot with lots of availability. The location of the hotel off the highway is very convenient. Staff was so friendly - namely the gentleman on check in and the woman on check out. We had forgotten an item (a fork!) and staff found us one which was really helpful. Breakfast was good.

The room was clean and the staff were awesome!! However, the hotel could use some TLC in the lobby area. The carpet needs to be replaced in the hallways and elevator. The fan in the bathroom needs to fixed. Also, they just need to update the TV’s to smart TV’s. But all in all it was a pleasant stay.

The rooms are spacious and sre always clean. They offer a good breakfast every morning. The staff is always kind. If you don't want to sit or lie in the bed all day/ or night, there is a separate living area, that's very nice. The Hyatt Place is our choice of hotels in and out of Michigan.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the complimentary breakfast was good, too. My only complaint is that the door latch did function properly and the staff entered our room twice trying to clean it. However, Marina more than made up fir these shortcomings by putting forth the extra effort to locate my son's missing tablet!

This used to be a favorite for me. Great location. It is definitely run down. First room we were given smelled bad and the TV and phone did not work. There were stains on couch, floor etc. We were switched to a different room. That one smelled better and everything worked but still lots of stains. No housekeeping on second night but they did enter the room and leave towels. Check in was confused . Staff couldn't explain the incidental charge / authorization and she was very "overwhelmed ". Please give that girl some training. She was pleasant though. Poster in elevator looked like it had been through a war. It's the little things that make a hotel great. This one has lost its way and it is a shame.
