The property is older and in need of remodel but it was clean. We did have a musty smell in my room and hallway. We also had issue with the bedding but the manager and staff had it resolved quickly.

I liked the free breakfast, the fact it has a bar in the lobby area and that they left out lemon ice water for guests ! I didn't like that when I went to use the coffee machine I found an eyelash extension in the water basin part, but it's not a big deal, I was a housekeeper a long time before so I understand things can happen.

I do not normally review a property however I had to say something about this one. I will never stay here again. The only thing good about this hotel was the staff and the shuttle service. It needs serious renovations. They charged $400.00 for one night and the elevator was out, the carpets were filthy, the curtains were filthy, the room smelled like old smoke and is dingy. I was concerned I was going to take home something more than my luggage. . On the good side, we were here for a concert and the shuttle service was awesome and the staff was very friendly.

Great budget stay for short term travellers! The room was very clean and linens were all soft and lovely. Best mattress I've slept on in a while as well! Do note, however, closet and drawer space is on the smaller side so if you are an over packer be prepared to live partially out of your suitcase. The greatest selling point of this property however has to be the breakfast. The continental spread is fantastic, including multiple hot and cold options, a waffle maker, toaster for easy reheating and a great selection of teas, coffee and juices. Everything is very hearty and you can easily fill up on enough to keep you satisfied through late afternoon. There are vending machines on property if you do happen to miss the breakfast window and the gas station across the road is also well stocked.

Very easy check-in and good parking access. Breakfast was good, but the dining area was small and very crowded. Room was neat, but you couldn't close the curtains and the beds definitely weren't queen sized. Overall a decent location and good hotel for a night, but could've been better.

Overall a good stay, hotel was decent, staff were especially nice and helpful. I appreciated the security in the parking lot. The ladies at the front desk were always smiling, helpful and nice. The cleaners and maintenance were nice as well. But the gold star goes to Rich, He took care of myself and my pregnant wife. Gave us lots of local information and helped us learn a lot about Detroit. He is the reason why I'll be coming back to the comfort for next year's festival. Would be nice if the elevator worked or the stairs were clean.
