“We stayed at the Banyan cottage and it was lovely. Up on a hill, very private. It had screens so no need to worry about bugs. The cooking area was nicely done so that you could cook breakfast easily. The property is gorgeous and you really feel like you're in the middle of the rainforest by yourself. Very relaxing. “The property was well kept and had everything we needed and then some. Carol Anne has thought of everything to make a guest stay pleasant, convenient and comfortable. The garden and gazebo are beautifully kept and manicured. Perfect for a scrumptious breakfast setting, which we received !! A healthy vegetarian breakfast with fresh local produce. “The new owners were really friendly and full of local knowledge. So was Pascal the taxi driver they arranged to pick us up. But we were also given lots of privacy. The view is amazing from the studio cottage. It was well appointed and comfortable, had good wifi. It could use a memory foam for the bed though. The grounds were clean and the whole Calibishie area is safe. Dominicans are soooo friendly! ”
