Jardines cuidadisimos, tiene posibilidad de elegir entre muchas actividades. Un poco ruidoso: es un hotel muy enfocado a familias.”

The signposting to the camp needs drastic improvement (my taxi got lost which I understood) and the road to get there is dreadful. The accommodation is fabulous and I slept so well. The hotel has an Indian owner and most of the guests were Indian, either from India or local. The way they spoke to and disrespectfully treated the staff was shocking and entirely unacceptable. There needs to be a sign...

“The staff are amazingly helpful, polite and friendly. They made us feel incredibly welcome despite our very late arrival. The waterhole, good and service are great and this has been our experience in Kenya so far. Love the overnight buzzer system which alerts you based on number of buzzes as to which animals have arrived at the waterhole The Ark needs new windows and the shower takes a while to warm up. It is cozy though with the big log fire and the thoughtful provision of hot water bottles...

“Le Rustique is a charming haven just far enough from the bustling town of Nanyuki, while still very close. The entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, the cottages are roomy, comfortable and quaint. Would definitely recommend!!”

“We had one night at The Farmhouse Inn, and we would have loved to stay longer. The garden is beautiful, the air is fresh and it is so quiet as it is a few km from the main road. Even though it is nothing fancy, the beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious. The evening before we were asked what we wanted for breakfast the following day, and it is my impression that they can cook all the basic breakfast dishes that you need. Would definitely recommend and come back another time.”
