"Although it was not easy to drive to the resort from Dar es Salaam (especially with our RAV4), our family had a wonderful stay there and is definitely willing to go back there. As many reviews of Tripadvisor already mentioned, the foods in the resort were fantastic. Grandparents, me and my husband, and our children (5 & 3 years old) all waited for the next meal time to taste something new and joyful. We had a boat trip to Mangroves which was very next to the resort which didn't cost a lot but...

"We loved this place! It was clean, quiet and reasonably priced. There’s a restaurant and nice garden area for dining. It is a short tuk tuk drive from the ferry or bus station (4000-5000shillings) across the road is the yacht club where you get a day pass for 10 000 shillings/pp, lots of lounging areas, pool table, showers, lockers and beachfront plus the food was exceptional (one of our favourite meals all trip) and reasonably priced.
