I am not an overly picky hotel guest, and I come from a Croatian background, so I normally cut hotels some slack in Croatia, knowing that they are not quite what I would expect in North America, but I couldn't wait to leave this horrible relic from the old communist days of tourism. "I was just searching for a hotel near Krka National Park. I didn't realize it was on the beach. The beach location gave us a pleasant evening and lots of good dining options. The breakfast was excellent."

"Staff were getting irritated when we were drinking bottled water next to the pool which we had purchased elsewhere. Could understand if it was alcohol, but water? They also did not have an option to pay by card at the bar, which was inconvenient, was well as not being able to charge drinks to the room. "
