“The hotelier at reception placed us in a really stunning 2 bedroom apartment. It was up on the top floor, completely exposed to the sparkling waters of the beach directly across the road. The front of the apartment had large bi-fold doors which opened completely out to the roomy sunny balcony. We could see the Waitangi grounds while sitting relaxing with a glass of bubbly. “A wonderful place to stay. Great room beautiful view, attentive staff and great restaurant food.”

“IN all it was a great place to stay and we will continue to stay there in future. The grounds are in a bad way as all the trees have been cut down and there is no woodlands on the their outlook views. They have also removed all the undergrowth on their property leaving the driveway bare. Until this is redone the outlook on approach is not nice.”

“A great apartment overlooking the water and sunset and very handy to have a washing machine/dryer even though it took hours to complete a cycle. We enjoyed cooking. We loved exploring Russell and surroundings so worth taking the car ferry from Opua (3km away) We were disappointed to discover the winery on way to Russell was closed even though advice was it was open on Wednesdays. Keri Keri is also worth a visit and a short drive north. Piahia though was the perfect place to stay.”
