"Not the most modern venue in Joensuu but clean and well maintained anyway. Location is excellent in downtown. Big disappointment was the hotel parking that was advertised as free. It was free but obviously too small for demand, so it was fully booked every evening. My room was big, especially the bathroom was about the size of a small hotel room. It was an "accessible room", although I did not ask for it. I consider it an upgrade. The breakfast was excellent to my taste."

"Excellent riverside location between the railway station and the city center. Very short walking distance to the city center but rental bikes are available, too. Cozy rooms with self-adjustable air-conditioning and ventilation windows. The refrigerator of our room was quite loud. Good breakfast with local specialties like Karelian rice pastries and banana-chocolate cake by a local bakery. The restaurant with a large summer terrace is good. The pampering spa department is with an extra charge."
