“部屋も清潔で家族4人安心して泊まることができました。徒歩2分の距離にcoopがありますのでとても便利です。もちろん部屋には水やスナック、コーヒーや紅茶のサービスがありました。満足しています。”

“Good location with incredible sea views. Unfortunately, with only a few guests there was no breakfast, no food & no bar open which was disappointing.”

“Breakfast very good”

“Quiet, comfortable hotel. Great location for the beach. The staff were just lovely. Friendly and helpful. Decor a little dated but charming in an oldy woldy way. Nice breakfasts.”

“Preis war etwas hoch und die Klimaanlage zu laut.”

“Liked everything with one exception. We had booked a superior double room. Upon arrival we were told we were being upgraded. The room was dominated by a super king size bed. There were 4 large lamps and 2 overhead bedside lamps. However no chair and no fridge. I enquired and unfortunately they did not have a spare fridge. I expected a chair and fridge in a superior room.”

“Perfect location in Shanklin, wonderful views. It’s just a short walk to the old village and Shanklin Chine. The hotel is a little tired in places but overall it was very good. It’s great that you can use the facilities in the sister hotel next door so there’s plenty to enjoy.”

“We had an ok stay. Overall there was a lot more good than bad. Positives: - Room and the rest of the hotel were nicely decorated, and more modern style than most nearby hotels - Cleanliness was good and the room was serviced efficiently - Breakfast was very good quality and the standard was fairly consistent - Three EV chargers and lots of parking. All chargers were Type 2, so if your car needs a CHAdeMO connector then you're out of luck, but they are uncommon now anyway. Charger was expensive...

“We booked the luxury caravan with a hot tub, although unfortunately we wouldn’t describe it as “luxury”. There were a few things that we felt needed attention. The radiators in the bathrooms were rusty and really need replacing, the grouting was mouldy, and one of the shower screens had mould around the bottom. The white railing around the patio was also loose and needs securing. The hot tub had supposedly been cleaned before our arrival, but there were what looked like small stones in it,...

“The property is quite outdated but the staff were helpful and it was adequate for our one night stay.”

“Fint läge vid havet. Stranden precis nedanför.”

“We loved staying at Albert Cottage. It is a unique property with beautiful historical furnishings and design. The breakfasts are wonderful. There is a lovely sitting room where we played cards. It has a nice restaurant. It is an easy walk to the fantastic Osborne House. There were a couple of small plumbing issues due to the age of the building but they were taken care of and not significant. We stayed in many places during our trip to the UK and loved this one in particular.”

“This is a hotel in need of a star … a star makeover and general upkeep and building works ! The Staff are wonderful and helpful. Just as well because a vigorous opening of a window might see it crashing onto the road . Although as clean as the staff can do it’s got gaps / damp / loose fittings / signs of doors being forced/general lack of repair/ general lack of money and care . Again the young staff are great and really try. It could be smart and have real unique feel not downtrodden neglect...
