Hotels with Complimentary Breakfast in Henan

"Perhaps the rating of the hotel is not fair. I am actually quite upset at Hotels.com for letting me book this hotel when I couldn't even check in as a foreigner. I didn't get to the hotel till after dinner only to find out I couldn't check in. It was extremely inconvenient for my family. I am considering giving up my use of hotels.com for not providing this information, or knowing it"

"Expedia writes "includes continental breakfast" which is not true. The breakfast is Chinese vegetables and cold berry juice (no bread or coffee so this is an error). Staff speak no English but try to be helpful. They ordered us a taxi. Expedia also doesn't tell you that you have to pay a 600 deposit on arrival (this came as a difficulty for us). You get this back when leaving. Hotel is aging , evidently grand in its day but furntiture easily broken and tiles in bathroom old, bed hard....
