The Ali Pasha Bridge is located near the beautiful town of Gjirokastra in Albania. You can easily hike there within 30 minutes and you can be pretty sure not to meet any other tourists. The bridge was part of a larger aqueduct complex commissiones in the early 19th century by Ali Pasha of Tepelenë. Tje aqueducts fed the castle's cisterns with water from the Mount Sopot. Gjirokastra didn't have water at this time and Alia Pasha discerned the need of this structure. "Beautiful views and night life around the city. The staff are extremely accommodating and helpful (we got lost and the staff helped with directions to the hotel). Definitely worth stopping and staying a night or two if youre in the area. I would go out of my way to stay here again if travelling to Albania. "
