"We liked the atmosphere of the old house. The grounds were beautiful. The staff person was very friendly and helpful. She doesn’t speak English, but between a little Spanish on our part and sign language, it was a wonderful experience. We learned a little Portuguese! Would stay again if ever in the area."

"This is a gem ….we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. The included breakfast was amazing. The back garden was a delight and a respite to a busy day of sightseeing. The staff were fabulous especially our dear host whose positive attitude and bubbly personality made our stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this property."

"It was a Big surprise when we pulled up in front of the property! This was a 17th Century “Casa” which is still owned by the members of the founding family. It was like entering a museum. There were original portraits of the family going back 4-5?generations. Original furniture. The hostess was very kind and the breakfasts were delicious with fruit, cheese, meat, fresh fruit, local artisan baked goods 2 kinds of juice , coffee and teas. Could not have asked for more! Would highly recommend this...
