"It has a great view of Lalibela from the bar, the restaurant, and the patio. It seems the property has not kept up probably due to the downtown of tourism and economy. My room had only one working table lamp so I ate my dinner in the dark. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was an average stay overall. "

"I have traveled the world with my family, and HIGHLY recommend the Mayleko Lodge. I selected the lodge at random, and was glad I did. The service was incredible. The Hotel Manger paid personal visits to our room to ensure that we were doing well, and in one case noted we were late for breakfast, and offered to arrange room service so we would not miss our breakfast. "Prachtige locatie, mooi uitzicht. Echt leven tussen de locals. Bijzondere ervaring. Mensen zijn heel gastvrij, goede verzorging. Geen voorzieningen van water en elektriciteit. Minder prettig was de kou. De enige mogelijkheid om warm te blijven is het vuur in een afgesloten ruimte. De hoogte gaf lichamelijke klachten."
