“Staff is wonderful. Good choice indeed. Very relaxing and cozy comfort. Roses everyday on our bed. Loved it. Well done.🙏”

“I regret the high tarif for medium comfort room and the refusalm to issue an invoice pretexting Expedia would do, which they even do not reply my mails >>> never again through expedia and I would book directly with hotel”

“I really enjoyed my 2 night stay at Hilltop Lodge. The reception and restaurant staff were excellent. My room had a touch of quality about it; spacious with a comfy bed, nice linen, nice bathroom and a spectacular view from the balcony.”

“My overall experience was below average. Before our arrival, the hotel promised to provide airport pickup, but no one showed up, so we had to take a taxi instead. The internet in our room did not work throughout our stay. Three different hotel staff members tried to help, but none of them seemed to know the correct Wi-Fi password or how to fix the issue. The dining experience was another major disappointment. The breakfast buffet was far below the standard I would expect from a hotel that...

“Even though Expedia advised the hotel provided an airport shuttle that was not the case! Due to the petrol crisis I was advised by the hotel upon advising of my delayed flight that I would have to find transportation myself. A very kind stranger from my flight, managed to get a driver/taxi to take me to my hotel. Upon arriving I had to pay 2000 bir which was a lot by their standards. I know I’ve been fleeced but what can you do and they have been hit badly by the petrol crisis! ”

“This hotel is absolutely excellent! It is beautiful, clean and safe and the staff are exceptional! It is a little away from Gondar town which is really nice and it is gated with security. It has outdoor patio area and a rooftop sitting area and a bar. Our stay Included breakfast which was made to order and delicious! Rooms have a balcony and are elegant and comfortable. Hot water at all times and they have a generator. We will absolutely be staying again! Thank you to the staff!! ”

“The only good thing of that hotel is Moges, the man in the reception. Very helpfull. thank you for your advices and helping me to book another hotel by phone. But I would never go back to that hotel. No internet in the rooms -though they say they have. No shuttle bus to the airport. And all the inconveniences you can imagine.”

“The accomodations were very nice with large comfortable bed. Staff are amazing.”

I stayed at this hotel in Sep 2023. It takes 30-60 mins from the airport of Lalibela. Since there is no public transport from the airport, you need to book a lift...
