“Check in was promising. Friendly, courteous staff, cheerful, and helpful. Showering has major problems; no hot water, and then, NO WATER!. Breakfast request for two Eggs, Sunny Side Up was a total failure.....Gas Stove broken. Toast request was futile as NO BUTTER!. Hotel not allowed to sell BEER!. Paid for three nights, three rooms but stayed only TWO!. Only recommendation I can proffer is to stay at HERMES Palace Hotel. If full occupancy delay your visit as its the only decent Hotel in Banda...

“This hotel have a big room the location near the restaurant and a delicous me restaurant. This is the old hotel in Banda Aceh and the area of this hotel is big and we can parking our car easy. The rate hotel not expensive and we canwalk around and we can look Baiturahman mosque by walk. I have a nice exprience, when i went to sabang island my doughter forget for her Ipad and when we back again to hotel we ask about this and we get a happy information because they save our Ipad in the box...

“Mooi hotel, standaard kamer ruim en schoon. Prima badkamer met fijne douche. Wi-Fi in de kamer, satelliettv (BBC, HBO, CNN). Ontbijtbuffet uitgebreid maat grotendeels Indonesisch eten. Westers ontbijt cornflakes, croissants en rolls, toast met jam of pindakaas. Nadeel: locatie, redelijk ver buiten het centrum, niet echt restaurants in de buurt. Restaurant van het hotel erg prijzig (niet gegeten) Staff receptie wil wel hun eigen hotelbusje regelen, maar geen taxi bellen.”
