The hotel is nice older but well maintained the only reason for 3 star review is the room, it was very far with no view I have never walked that long to get to my room, felt like a maze. But everything else including free breakfast was great.

Lago Garda shore-side hitel

This lakeside hotel is in good condition and staff friendly and helpful. Parking, arranged by the hotel, is off-site, but close by and secure. Internet is a bit intermittent which is a shame

Great location, on the shore overlooking Lake Garda . We arrived via the train, train station was about 15 minute walk down the hill. Recently refurbished room which was excellent and so was the bed. I would highly recommend the hotel.

We had a lovely stay in Desenzano at Hotel Riviera, where Desenzano provided the perfect base for us to explore Lake Garda as we had been travelling Italy via trains. We had a balcony and lake view room, which provided gorgeous views and caught the morning sun. For us that was definitely worth upgrading for. The room felt spacious and modern. There was only a mini bar fridge in the room though, so storing any drinks to cool was a challenge, especially with the 30 degree heat. Only gripe with the room was that the shower had poor temperature regulation, where often it would cycle. The roof terrace with sun loungers was a cracking touch, especially for days of just relaxing. The hotel was only a short walk to the ferry port, and < 20mins walk to the train station. I would highly recommend this hotel, and would opt to stay again in the future!

Nice at quick town close to attractions

We stayed in the comfort room which can only sleep 2 people comfortably(maybe a baby as well) site states can sleep 3 but that’s not the case. Other than that the hotel is lovely with free breakfast which is the standard offerings, coffee was really good. The hotel if centrally located with lots of good eating options around and the lake across. Definitely book the lake view rooms we made great use of the balcony for morning coffees and people watching. The hotel also was able to accommodate our late check out for a reasonable fee. We found the paid parking close and easy. If your planning at trip to Gardaland(by car) the morning traffic around the town near Gardaland is crazy(1 hr+) it was quicker to go to Venice.

The property is conveniently located in the main area of Desanzano Del Garda. It is a two minute walk to a really great beach and under 10 minutes walking to the main city Square with all of the restaurants and bars and shops. Also, just a five minute taxi to the train station. The room was air-conditioned and at night, even though a busy area. It was still very quiet. The view from the balcony overlooking the lake was incredible gorgeous sunset and sunrise.

Tolles Hotel,welches unsere Erwartungen übertroffen hat. Gutes Frühstück,sehr nettes Personal,zentral gelegen mit schöner Freifläche vor dem Hotel. Das Zimmer war zwar nicht übermäßig groß, aber das ist für uns auch nicht wichtig. Etwas schwierig ist die Parksituation,da das Hotel nicht über eigene Parkplätze verfügt. Oberhalb vom Hotel gibt es einen kostenfreien Parkplatz,allerdings ist ein großer Teil der Parkflächen für Kurzzeitparker reserviert,man muss also Glück haben, einen Platz ohne Zeitbeschränkung zu bekommen. Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit,ein vergünstigtes Ticket für die Tiefgarage ganz in der Nähe zu erwerben.
