The rooms/gathering areas/breakfast, and staff were amazing! The only hiccup we had was when we went to check in, they didn’t have us down that we were staying there. When I booked months ago through Expedia I had booked a (2 night) Friday and Saturday night stay. Then we had something come up that we needed to cancel just the Friday night and keep the Saturday. On Expedia it showed that my Friday night was canceled and my Saturday stay was still booked And even sent me alerts that my stay was approaching. Homewood Suites has in their system that both nights were canceled. The hotel had 1 room left and was able to get us in, but that could have gone a different way, and left us without a room and scurrying to find another hotel last minute. I’m not sure where the disconnect was, but it fortunately worked itself out. Is there another way, other than contacting the hotel itself, to double check they do indeed have the booking next time when booking through Expedia’s or a third party website?
