Close location to the airport if you’re flying out. They allow parking for $5/night while on your trip and a shuttle to/from the airport.

The staff was very nice, room was clean and breakfast had several choices. The hotel was also conveniently located for my sightseeing. There is no elevator and I got a room on the 2nd floor which wasn’t ideal. Although, one of the staff did carry my luggage up for me. I managed getting it down.

Pros: Clean sheets and towels Comfortable bed Parking lot Near airport and downtown Ice, microwave, and refrigerator in room Cons: No communication from staff - I mean bare minimum only to tell me how to get to my room from the steps - didn’t ask for ID or anything. Floors are sticky and gross Things need to be replaced like stained up furniture and curtains No room service If staying multiple days need to get a new room key every day (or at least this is what we experienced) Pool down

The pool was under construction or being renovated and we were disappointed. Breakfast was good, rooms were clean but the AC unit is noisy. We asked for extra towels and they told us we had to wait until the next morning when housekeeping got in - we like fresh towels for our showers. Some of the people staying there smoked pot in the parking lot - you could smell it everytime you went outside. Clean place but you get what you pay for.

Curtains were very dirty. I would not sit on the chair in the corner, there was an unknown substance on it. The desk chair, kept moving down. It would not hold a higher setting. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean. Breakfast decent. Pool being refurbished. Lots of smoking at the front door.

The place was basic. The room was quiet. Everything worked. The bed was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast included eggs. It is close to the airport, although the bigger consideration for me was the 30 minute drive to the Des Moines opera in Indianola. The biggest drawback was a second floor room and no elevator.

The hotel was conveniently located near the airport after our late flight. It met our needs and was clean enough for a short stay before our drive home the next morning. I would normally choose something else, but it worked well in this situation.
