The food and service at the restaurant were very good. We stayed in a smaller room - and it is small - but we had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable with nice linens. Also, the air-conditioning worked well. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Liam was incredibly helpful, courteous and professional from our first phone call to check in to going above and beyond retrieving an item from my sister's vehicle after valet hours. Our stay was wonderful, and much of that was due to Liam. Room was comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed the restaurant and their staff immensely.

The Slate is a very unique hotel, built into an old school building! The rooms were VERY small, so keep that in mind. However, for 2 people, it was cozy, and I will take character over size any day. Definitely worth checking out!
