This hotel has all you will need for a relaxing and fun stay in the quaint downtown area of Golden. Walking trails, creek, park, shops, lots of coffee shops and restaurants nearby to walk to and explore. Quiet , comfortable room and quality sheets, pillows etc for a good nights sleep. BIG BONUS - Free clean water dispenser machines on each floor and the lobby - so nice to not have to buy bottled water! We will only stay here on return trips to Golden/Denver area - best stay ever!

I loved the view and the room was really nice. Kind of bummed that the restaurant was closed for maintenance or some thing in the morning when I stayed. I would’ve loved to have breakfast. Also when we checked in, we learned that the power was going to be out for a few hours in the morning when we were checking out, which was inconvenient as well. I did not love having to pay for parking in addition to the hotel.

It was very uniquely themed with a warm, western atmosphere. We loved it as soon as we walked in. Something different and fun. The staff members were always pleasant and helpful. After several flight delays and cancellations, we found ourselves in a nice place to unwind.

This is a great hotel, but rooms are a little awkward/outdated and the bathroom faucet leaked the entire time. For the price, I was disappointed in how clean the room was. Beds were clean and fresh, with lots of pillows...but the room clearly hadn't been vacuumed or really cleaned well. Lots of dog hair and debris in the corners of the room. I mentioned it upon checkout and all I got was a "sorry" - it's not like I was looking for a giant discount or something, but a little $$ off would have been nice as my total for three nights was around $1600. Anyone could have walked up and noticed that I wasn't making it up. Beyond that, this was a great location and I wouldn't dissuade anyone from booking...

Great stay. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Had construction going on and can see some really nice improvements coming soon. Looks like a patio overlooking the river. We will stay here again. Location can't be beat for Golden.

The location of this hotel is great! In the center of downtown Golden, CO and within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, breweries and the river walk just behind the hotel. The hotel was undergoing construction during our stay which wasn't ideal. There was noise outside on the street during the night which woke us up on several occasions so you may want to request a room facing the back of the hotel. (riverside)
