You never expect much when renting a motel in this price range (very affordable!), but this property did exceed expectations for sure. Recently renovated, convenient location, quick check-in process and a clean property. Definitely a great value especially when compared to the (more expensive) chain motels in the area, would stay again!

The room was clean, great for a budget minded traveler. The bed was hard, the bathroom heater didn’t work but overall not a bad stay, would stay again when traveling on a budget, great location to catch the rail into Denver and airport.

Good stay with no real issues. Tiniest TV and shower pressure was low but that was it. Very clean room with good staff, bus and rail very close by. Very close to restaurants and grocery. Great views of city and mountains.

Nice clean room with actual turn key locks. Good water pressure and friendly staff. More of a drive up style motel - all rooms have outside entry. Very friendly staff and easy self check out. I also got my credit card deposit back in 2 days (was quoted 5 business days) so was happy about that.

We had a very late check in, after calling the property to let them know they messaged very detailed and helpful instructions on how to get our keys. The room was clean and well maintained. The property is right off a busy street so it does get loud at times throughout the night. We only stayed two night and didn’t get any turn down services.

The City Inn is a reasonably priced place for a short stay when all you need is a clean room and a comfortable bed. Overall, the facilities are aging but well maintained. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is safe and relatively convenient to downtown Denver. The rooms are spartan but clean, and the beds are acceptably comfortable. Clothing storage is minimal. Bath towels are thin. The location next to a busy thoroughfare is not suitable for free-roaming children. In general, I would not recommend it for families.

Great family-owned hotel close to Downtown Denver! Very friendly staff, minimalist but clean room. No luxuries here, but clean environment and comfortable beds. If you're staying overnight for a Downtown Denver event, consider this place

No real office, check in place hard to find- just a cubby hole Smell in room was overwhelmingly Strongly floral - probably cleaning solution used Small outside rickety elevator Hotel absolutely flush to the sidewalk on a very busy street - lots of traffic noise Questionable neighborhood Room itself was clean Even though the price was a bargain, we cancelled our second night

I hate to write bad reviews but I just need to say to warn everyone. The place was pretty run down and there were cockroaches in our room. The tub drains forever and the door's dead bolt doesn't really lock from the outside. We just needed to be a little secure. The area was pretty quiet though. Close to Mexican restaurants. Just warning other travellers. If you guys just need a night to stay, it should be fine (if you dont mind roaches).
