Just like to add to the many reviews already made for this 70, yes 70 year old property.it is well and truly past its use by date, very worn and , I believe,beyond repair. No hot running water..was fixed ( a little) after complaining,putrid sewer smells in bathroom, really slow drainage, mould,cracked tiles,bed really hard, and I mean HARD ,old grey linen and towels. Staff are doing their best to keep it going but obviously the owners are not spending a penny to oblige. Location is great with heaps of food choices but PLEASE book elsewhere for soooo much better value.( I know , we checked)

The Hotel has great staff and a good location, the deep pool was clean, the kids pool had a yellow ting to it but I think was clean. This seems like a resort for older people which is fine- relatively quiet. The main issues are the bathrooms both in the rooms and near the pool- definitely could use some upgrades, even just a new clean shower curtain for a few dollars would help and a new toilet seat. The breakfast was not good, cold food everyday and the coffee is really bad( we had great Bali coffee at our first hotel) the only thing that was good was the watermelon.

Rooms are very out dated. Bathrooms terrible. Sink and bath stained from years of water. This property has NO hot water. Furniture was chipped and very dated. The only thing new was the coffee machine. Rooms were very dark. Gardens, pool and dining area kept very well, pool had a walk in area for people with mobility issues. There is a grab rail and 3 small steps into the pool, then two grab rails into the main part of the pool. Rails also getting up into the dining area also they had ramps. Staff were excellent and very obliging. This is a hospitality training hotel and they do well training their staff. It is cheap and in such a good location if only money was spent on upgrading the rooms and especially the bathrooms it would be a fantastic hotel. I’m a travel manager and we decided to see what this was like, as we try and experience properties. This hotel is good for people on a tight budget that do not mind no hot water and bathrooms that are very dated. Bath and shower are combined meaning that you have to grip the handrail to get into the bath for a shower. Not good for people with mobility issues. Staff were very attentive and helpful. They are being trained very well.
