Clean, privately owned hotel. Courteous and friendly owner. We get the presidential suite with the hot tub.

Okay for a short stay

The staff are pleasant and maid service was superb. The only problem was that the room had a smell that irritated my lungs. It may have been more than just our room. We were never sure what the smell was. My son thought it smelled like damp corn husks. To me it smelled like cleaning agents mixed with something else. It wasn't pleasant. It was also very humid in our room, and we couldn't figure out how to open the window, if it could be opened. We had a lot going on that weekend, so no time to address this with management.

The breakfast was good except for the sausage. The staff was friendly and the room appeared clean except for the strong smell of animal. I had a hard time sleeping because I could feel all the Springs in the bed due to the mattress being old and I made the staff aware of it the next morning.

The room I was checked into was still dirty! There was food wrappers still on the side table, all there surfaces were dirty and sticky! The carpet was gross and sticky. The hallways were filthy like they haven’t been vacuumed in a long time. The vending machines were empty.
