The staff is the best. Only complaint was that there was no hair dryer but found out they were available if missing from the front. As far as clean, there’s a lot of carpet and most of it was dirty, but what do you do in an outdoor activity environment. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again for sure. Plenty of on site dining too.

The Princess Wilderness Lodge is centrally located near Denali National Park and Denali Village. Everything you could possibly need is either on property or within walking distance. There are very helpful shuttle services to and from the park and the train station. And excursion companies provide shuttle services that stop at this resort as well.

I was a bit skeptical due to reviews but our stay was more than great!! We stayed in a room with 2 beds, the room was well maintained and clean. The location is 10/10, super close the park and shuttle stops. There are onsite restaurants, gift shops, and coffee & downtown is directly across the street. I didn’t realize this lodge was mainly geared for princess cruise guests, but we still enjoyed it very much. Definitely recommend.

It’s a very good hotel to stay! Important notes, kitchen has microwave, refrigerator, dish washer but no oven. Breakfast options are good for vegetarians as well. Waffles, oatmeal, cereals, bread and patties, egg were in the menu.

Amazing stay at the Princess Lodge. The room was super clean, and the staff on-site were very helpful. We would have loved it if the restaurants were open until a bit more late (like 11 or midnight) or if there was a deli/vending machine for readymade food pickup.

Owners attention to details is phenomenal. Small things like a care package in the bathroom, bath robes, conveniences in the kitchen, pepper spray cans…you name it, so the cottage was well stocked and equipped. Owner was very responsive and helpful throughout.

The property is located in a beautiful location. Rooms were not cleaned properly. There was still dirt and hair in the bathroom. Restaurant staff at King salmon restaurant within the property are not welcoming towards people of color. Staff who guide customers at the front desk are also insensitive towards people of color. Will never stay here and will never recommend this place to anyone.

Very nice property but I do wish there was something for breakfast or dinner that didnt cost extra as there is already a premium on booking. Luckily theres plenty to get across the street or you can pay. The patio between a and b building is very nice. Staff was a mix between helpful and borderline rude at times. Rooms were very clean. Overall I would stay again but I do believe it could've been a little better for the price.

The good: the staff is super friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and clean, beds were comfortable. The view of the Denali National Park was awesome. The location of the hotel is quite close to the Denali National Park. The not so good: the decor was outdated and the furnishings are showing sign of age. The entire property needs an overhaul. The food was mediocre at the two restaurants we ate at and quite expensive for what it is.

We were advised the morning of the booking via Expedia that the property had been overbooked and we had been transferred 20 mins away. Without access to data to check emails or Expedia while travelling, we did not find this out until check-in late in the afternoon. The staff at the desk were helpful and professional to advise of the issue and confirm the booking transfer. Fortunately we had a car to drive ourselves, however would have been inconvenient should any traveller not have access to a car in a more remote location. It was disappointing that the property was overbooked and that more effort was not made to make contact via phone call. Additionally, when we attempted to respond to their prior communications (via Expedia) once at the new property, our messages were left without a response until they were seeking feedback on check-out from the property we were not staying at.

DPL is built as its own ecosystem and has wonderful shops and restaurants. Very close to bike rental, airstrip and bus depot. The row of shops across the street are convenient and provide variety. The only complaints are: 1. There are no fridges or silverware in the rooms. 2. The wonderful lobby of Buildings A and B has a terrible bar to operates at weird hours and has the lamest coffee I’ve had in ages. They should do something about that.
