The most shanti place to land and recover from long travels to India. Staff is welcoming and helpful not matter the time of arrival. Rooms are always clean with hot water and comfortable beds. Located perfectly for shopping, yet away from main roads and beautifully peaceful compared to most guest houses in paharganj. This time we stayed on the 3rd floor and enjoyed very much the verenda just outside the room. If your expectations are realistic, you cannot go wrong by choosing this guest house.

Avoid this place at all costs

Booked 4 weeks in advance, travelled 24 hours with 2 kids, got stuck in absolute chaotic queues on the street leading up to the hotel to get told we had no room. In fact we were told we had not made a booking at all, so evidence presented to who we assume was the manager. What he actually does is take your booking and ignore it as he does not know what a planner is or how to pre book rooms. What he looks out for is maximising his revenue from walk in trade. When you prove his system wrong he books you into a insect invested hotel round the corner which you have to take due to the time and the fact you are travelling with kids, this room by the way is cheaper than what you have already paid, he also makes you pay for the transport to get there, he then says you can come back the next day and try again. We simply booked some where else for the next day and used hotels.com to report this place and claim our lost money back. Unfortunately the manager has no shame and says he must keep the money as it goes against policy. What about policy of providing a room and service which has been paid for? They do not know how to run a hotel. Avoid a book a hotel at least 2 miles away from the venue, you can find some well run establishments.

Hotel calme à Pahangarj

Hotel calme au coeur d'un quartier très animé mais il se situe dans une cour arborée et est donc éloigné du bruit. L'enregistrement a été très rapide et le personnel agréable. L'état des chambres est tres variable. Ma chambre il y a 9 mois était mieux que celle-ci qui mérite d'être refaite mais je voulais être au 3ème étage car il est à moitié toit terrasse aménagé.

J'avais réservé 2 nuits mais vu l'état de la chambre j'ai demandé à annuler la seconde. Le propriétaire m'a dit qu'il ferait le nécessaire auprès de Expedia mais il n'en est rien. Il m'a demandé de payer en cash a l'arrivée alors que le paiement était fait en ligne. Il a prétexté n'avoir eu aucune réservation de la part d'expedia, une mauvaise fois incroyable. Après deux heures de confrontation il a même fait semblant d'appeler devant moi mais le téléphone était éteint .. Chambre très salé, salle de bain pleine de moisissures et de champignons vraiment inutilisable même avec des tongs! Une odeur épouvantable, des draps sales. N'allez pas chez eux c'est vraiment cher pour un taudis...

A nice hotel if you are looking for a budget stay

Overall, it was an OK stay. The hotel is at the main bazaar which is good if you like the metro and shopping, but bad if you like taking cars due to the congestion of the road. While the room did not have AC and the fan was not situated right above the bed, I still had good nights' rest for the four days I stayed there. The food is ok and the staff are great. If you need a decent place to stay for a low price, then you can give this hotel a try.

メインバザールのメイン通りからは奥まったところにあるが、迷うことはない。ダブルベッドと天井ファン、テレビ、お湯シャワー、洋式便所でタオルとトイレットペーパー、石鹸が提供された。エアコンはあったが、電気がつかず。エコノミーの部屋だったのでエアコンは元より期待はしていなかったので問題なし。Wifiもちゃんと使えた。 個人的にトラブルがあって病院に行きたいと従業員に相談したら、近くの診療所に連れて行ってくれた。他のスタッフも含め、皆ちゃんとしていた印象。

Worst hotel in Delhi.

This was the worst experience I've had at a hotel. I booked 4 nights but didn't even stay 1. They kept my money for all 4 nights though. The room with filthy, the sheets and pillow cases were stained and looked like they had been used. The door didn't lock. I ended up booking a room at another place and the manager got nasty when I said I was leaving.

Reasonably Priced - Avoid Travel Desk

We stayed twice at Cottage Ganga Inn, once on our arrival in Delhi and again after completing the golden triangle. The hotel rooms were fairly comfortable and reasonably priced. The food at the rooftop restaurant was very good, but the customer service let it down. The location is central being just off Main Bazaar, which although touristy and good for low budget hotels is not the prettiest part of the city. It is also next to New Delhi train station, so be vigilant against scam artists who may try to stop you to get you into private "Government of India" travel agencies. Unfortunately we found the travel desk at the hotel's reception to be no better after being explicitly lied to in an attempt to get us to book train tickets through them. We were told outright that we weren't able to book them directly at the train station as it was shut to tourists due to Diwali, which we didn't believe and disproved the same morning. We would recommend to people looking for a short stay on a low budget.

it's bad experience ever, i booked for 2 nights but i stayed only one night, the hotel area is terrible and not clean, the taxi has to drop you 100 meters far from the hotel and you have to walk in dirt till the door if the hotel, when i reached the entrance a lot if people sleeping in the lobby!!, staff is rude and not cooperative, he was sleeping and when they wake him up he comes with sad and aggressive face!! the room is triple and the placket is dirty and smells bad, i found yellow spots in the only towel in the room!! unsafe electric connections and the bath room is not as you wish to be, overall it's very bad experience to me

Nothing worked, and the staff constantly tried to rip me off with bulkshit deals. No hot water, no ac. I even heard them discussing over the phone how to trick me into paying them more.
