Rustic vibes, easy to find, close distance to pretty much everything in town. The front desk staff was kind and helpful & they had a decent breakfast selection. While the room wasn't dirty it didn't seem quite clean either. Dead bugs on the floor in the bathroom but the real issue was the humidity. The room smelled musty and everything felt damp throughout our stay. Likely will choose to lodge elsewhere in the future.

I had a great stay at Boarders Inn & Suites in Waukon. The hotel is run by a very nice family, and their excellent customer service truly stands out. They were warm, welcoming, and made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. One suggestion that would make the experience even better is adding a laundry room for guests. It would be a helpful convenience, especially for longer stays. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, cleanliness, and the wonderful people who run it.

Room was nice and clean. Parking was good. Staff nice. Just a place to stay. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Waffles, sausage and cereal. Hard boiled eggs only 2 left, had to ask for sausages which were all gone. But for an overnight it was good.

The staff is very friendly and helpful and attentive always. Parking is easy and free. The entire place is clean, quiet, and well-supplied. Breakfast was very good, with ample choices available. The lamp switches in our room didn't work very well, but we were able to have light as needed. The beds are comfortable, comforters cozy. Pillows are clean and fresh, but over-stuffed and hard. Still, we slept very well. We will be back to this hotel often!
