This property had a old world charm to it and common areas are convenient and fun. The rooms have old furniture and need renovating though, but the beds were pretty comfortable and I couldn't hear my neighbors too much. One heftier complaint is a big one to me, but the internet didn't work in my room! At check in they said it would be "spotty," but it did not work at all and they said they were working on fixing it. There are several things I can look past but this really isn't acceptable in this day and age. The saloon style restaurant was cool, but also very over priced for the entree portions, however the sides were good and you could easily social distance comfortably. Staff was very friendly throughout and kept this from only being an "ok" review.

I did not stay. It is a run down property. 1 star at best.

The restaurant food was very good, yet pricey. The pool was pretty dismal for the property. Some of the other things I would comment in were due to the COVID-19, so I’ll give them a pass.

Old...toilet broken. Air conditioning inadequate, out dated and inefficient.

Great for cycling in March

We were there for self-supported cycling across Death Valley right as the coronavirus hysteria took hold. Of course, Death Valley was a great place for "social distancing". Cycling was great. For those that want support, we noticed at least one cycling company was using the hotel as a base.
