The position of the hotel in Deal the fact that the room had its own entrance with a key pad to get into it. The only small issue was the sound of the traffic going past but it was ok for us. Very glad to find the room had a AC unit in it as our time was during the hottest day and nights this year

Very disappointed with our room for the price we paid. Have stayed in many hotels over the country and our room was very small. One side of the bed was so small it was hard to get out of bed. Some of the carpet was a bit frayed round the edges We were booked fo 2 nights but only stayed for one night. Staff were great and very helpful. The stairs up to the hotel reception was a bitof a pain with our suitcases and there were more stairs going up an down to get to our room. Im afraid I would not go back

We have returned after having spent the last 2 nights at The Clarendon for my husbands 40th birthday, the communication was brilliant from start to finish, we loved our room (the goodwin suite) its a touch of luxury with a very reasonable price tag, the beach and pier view absolutely blew me away, after having lost my mum last week it was a welcome distraction as well as a celebration for my husband. We picked Deal so we could go fishing and having a view of the pier made The Clarendon a firm favourite for us, we will definitely be back thank you for having us ❤️

Great location in Deal

Great location for a stay in Deal. Lovely views, of the sea and pier. Accommodation was well equipped , so you can easily bring food in, but it is also very close to lots of pubs and restaurants. So we chose to eat out.
