Very cute Inn close to downtown. The young woman who checked us in was very friendly, parking was easy and convenient, and the room was really clean. The only thing I wish this hotel had was an ice machine, but they did have ice for sale. My family and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Deadwood.

I found the Cedar Wood Inn to be very comfortable and quaint. Very clean and well maintained. There were 2 outside sitting areas that were great for drinking morning coffee and winding down the day in the evening. This was my first stay and if I make it back to Deadwood I will stay again. Thank you Cedar Wood Inn for a lovely place to stay while visiting Deadwood.

Exactly what we expected. Walking distance (15 min) to downtown. Old mom-and-pop style hotel which is what we wanted. Admittedly, there were places where the walls in the room looked a little rough, but clean as a whistle. Beds, sheets, and pillows were great. AC worked dandy, as did fridge. Staff is very friendly, as are the other guess. There are not many amenities plus you have to pay for ice, which is a slight downer. But I'd stay here again 10x before I'd stay in one of the big boxes on the north and south ends of town.
