This was an older very basic motel, however we found the room to be very clean and the beds were comfortable, we checked in late and got up early on a drive home for Thanksgiving —-and for the price it suited our needs just fine. Small safe little town, not tons of dining options but if you need an overnight stay, book here. No frills but clean safe place to rest. Would stay again.

We have stayed at DeLeon previously and booked again for our visit. The inn keeper, Daniel, was a delight, always maki g sure we had everything we needed. And Blue was a very good girl.😁 we will stay there again

I have mixed feelings about this motel. It’s in a very small town with little to nothing. Not ther fault. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot when I booked this room, but I was not able to get a WiFi signal. I was able to get it in the lobby but when I went to my room it disappeared. How ever the room was clean, they changed the bedding and gave me clean towels everyday. I was happy I was able to find a room when I did due to a big event in Stephenville.

Good enough, needs to be renovated

Hotel looked to be cleaned okay, but older hotel so dirt in places that are harder to clean, but room itself has a lot of cosmetic damages, which I didn’t mind, but was afraid they would say it was us and charge us for old damages. Originally took these photos for proof in case they tried to say that, only due to a bad experience years ago elsewhere where a run down hotel charged us for damages we did not do, and had to get police involved. But thankfully this hotel did not do this. But sharing so you know the conditions. Mattress did have a mattress protector on it which I did appreciate.

Room 101 was all in order except one minor problem that did not really affect me: the spigot for the bathtub was not firmly attached. The family-style restaurant a few steps away was decent for Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast.
