The room was not bad. The bathroom was clean, but the floor in the room itself wasn't (sand, dust, etc.) The bed was nice and soft. The bedding was fresh and clean. The room is very basic. No mini-fridge or kettle or anything like that. There were also things like torn wall paper and other wear-and-tear. Overall, we stayed for just one night and were quite satisfied.

This is a nice hotel in the centre of De Koog, not too expensive. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom also spacious and there is good light above the mirror. The shower is good. There is a nice restaurant attached with excellent food. My only negative is that the bed was sagging in the middle, not so comfortable.

Very, very tired...

Rooms are big, but very basic and tired. Too tired for the price - I wouldn't have minded for a budget hotel, but this hotel doesnt sell itself as such. Beds far too soft, linen ripped, no airco, very noisy. Great location, near the beach and restaurants.

Fletcher De Cooghen Texel is een 3 sterren hotel. Zelfs voor een 3 sterren hotel is het echt onder de maat helaas. - De matrassen van de bedden zakken ontzettend door. - De eerste ochtend bij het ontbijt was de koffiemachine kapot en er waren geen glazen zodat we überhaupt niets konden drinken. We zijn de rest van de week bij Het Plein gaan ontbijten. - De douche zit vol met schimmelplekken. Men zegt dit moeilijk te kunnen verhelpen. Ook op de muren van de badkamer zitten schimmelplekken. - Positief: perfecte ligging in de dorpsstraat, erg aardig personeel bij receptie en bar. Volgende keer gaan wij toch ergens anders.

Dit is het slechtste hotel waar ik ooit geslapen heb. En dan te bedenken, twee nachten (incl ontbijt) in totaal €440! Diefstal van de eeuw. Erbarmelijke staat. Bizar slechte kamers. Behang laat los. Gore vlekken op de muur. Douchecabine valt uit elkaar. Ontbijttafel zo klein dat je elkaar niet kunt passeren. €10 parkeerkosten, maar in de avond terugkeren bij het hotel en er dan achterkomen dat er geen parkeerplek meer is. Klagen bij de receptie gaat niet, want er zit niemand meer bij de receptie in de avond. Hier komen wij nooit meer terug! Ik had kennelijk van te voren recensies moeten lezen, want iedereen klaagt steen en been.

Het hotel was erg oud en oubollig ingericht. De kamers waren gehorig waardoor je veel last had van geluiden van andere gasten en de omgeving. Daarnaast was er continu een hard brommend geluid afkomstig van de afzuiging op het dak, wat vooral ’s nachts erg storend was. Hierdoor was het lastig om goed te slapen. Helaas voldeed het verblijf daardoor niet aan de verwachtingen.

Een zeer gehorig hotel als je aan de voorkant slaapt waar de cafe s en restaurants zitten.De gekregen oordopjes waren niet voldoende. Kleine kamer zonder lekkere stoelen om relaxed te zitten. Geen verduisteringsgordijn. Ventilatie vd badkamer werkte niet. Stop vd wasbak ontbrak zodoende moeilijk scheren. Verouderde inrichting. Geen aanrader wat ons betreft.

opzich prima, bedden lagen lekker, kamer was schoon maar wel verouderd, ontbijt was goed, alleen super gehorig, ik werd om zes uur wakker van de wekker van de buurman. en na half acht savonds doet de lift het niet meer, de trappen op 7 maanden zwanger was niet echt heel prettig. Voor de prijs dat wij 2 nachten verbleven in de winter was het prima qua kwaliteit prijs verhouding, maar als ik de prijzen van een zomerverblijf bekeek zou ik dat echt nooit ervoor neerleggen. Er zijn echt betere hotels op Texel voor die prijs, deze is dat echt niet waard. Opzich was het een prima verblijf, vandaar toch 3 sterren.
