This was a traditional beach motel. It provides a place to sleep with a firm bed. Breakfast wasn't offered. Their "laundry room" was a washer and dryer outside, not too ideal when it's pouring down rain. Steps away from the beach. Close to Subway and shops.

Check-in was super easy, and the room was decently cleaned. Great location convenient to a lot of places. No issues there. The murphy bed was uncomfortable, and our refrigerator didn’t work after we bought groceries. The property referred us to an after hours number that didn’t help at all. We figured out how to fix it ourselves after a lot of researching. The property didn’t seem to be concerned because they didn’t write back again until the next day and never came to check on it. We spent over $100 on groceries assuming the appliance would be working properly, so it was a huge stressor for us. Glad we figured it out by noticing the dial had been turned too far making the fridge glitch and not cool. The other issue is that the pool closes at dusk, which was barely after 8 PM. That’s the earliest I have ever seen a pool close. It is typically 10 PM most places. We love to night swim and that was out of the question, and the elderly staff or residents will keep you reminded of when it closes. We got told every day what time the pool closed unprovoked, even an hour in advance. It also felt often like we were being watched or something. Not a terrible experience, but just odd in many ways. We still had fun, but 3 stars is the best I will give it. We personally will choose somewhere else to stay next time.

I was fooled by the name and selected this resort thinking it was Fantasy Island II which is the next door resort which is much nicer/newer. The pool area and access to the beach are excellent. The room was adequate but the Murphy bed was creaky and a bit uncomfortable. The shared laundry machines need updated. We didn’t like the fact that the smoking patio was right outside our room. The smokers camped out there all day and night, smoking cigs, cigars, and joints. We probably won’t stay there again.
