The staff was mean, had an attitude and would not even look at you. Check in was at 4 and did not get a room till 6:30. Staff did not apologize or offer any accommodations since I paid for a full night but technically did not get a full night. No entry from pool to beach. You have to walk around the building and walk in by car beach entrance. Great view from room facing beach.

​I have mixed feelings about my stay. On one hand, the staff was wonderful; they truly tried their best to resolve the issues we encountered. However, the property is in desperate need of a serious update. ​Our room was unfortunately quite dirty—specifically the floors, which needed a deep scrub. While the maintenance team did fix our TV issues, it took until the third day of our stay. Additionally, the kitchen was poorly stocked and lacked basic dishes and pots. The location is excellent, but until the rooms are renovated and cleaned more thoroughly, it’s hard to fully enjoy the stay.

Potential areas of improvement: To sum it up, they need more staff, we waited ~20minutes at the front desk with 2 other families waiting to be checked in. It was after 4pm and the rooms weren't ready. When the gentlemen finally came to the front desk, it turned out he was trying to help catch up on laundry <3. The dog fee online indicates $20 but they were asking for $70 at the desk upon checkin- this feels like a huge discrepancy considering I chose this venue due to what i had believed was a reasonable dog fee, likely wouldnt have booked if i knew it was $70

Our stay at the Tropical Winds Hotel was peaceful, comfortable, and relaxing. Access to the pool was easy and the beach was in very close proximity. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only “complaint” would be lack of direct stairway to the beach - due to recent damages from hurricane.

When we arrived the room and kitchen were very clean. But soon realized the hotel was not what we expected. There weee signs that due to being Eco friendly the room would be cleaned every 3 days. We were there for 5 and the room was never cleaned. If it was not for us emptying and taking out our own garbage, making our own beds and cleaning the sinks ourselves, it would have not gotten done at all. There was one ice machine for all 8 floors and it was in the lobby. If we wanted clean towels, we had to “turn in” our wet used towels to the front desk first,to show we were not stealing towels. The view of the ocean was beautiful and most of the employees were kind and helpful, however you could tell their hands were tied by management’s directive The cafe on sight serves delicious food and the servers were very friendly

Customer Service is Excellent but this hotel can't be rated 4 Stars! It is a very old building in OK shape. Room had electric issues as well as the TV. Sofa bed was matrix was stinky and stained. King bed was Ok but not as expected. This hotel needs attention and care. It is good just if you don't find anywhere else to sleep!
